The boulevard is located in the very heart of the city, positioned between two major urban landmarks – the central market and the main square. This unique context naturally inspires its transformation into a vibrant cultural space.
The reconstruction embraces the market square with its sculpture composition as well as part of the existing cinema building, introducing a multi-level functional system:
- The upper level is dedicated to leisure, walking, and informal gathering.
- The middle level supports transit flows.
- The lower level accommodates business and cultural functions.
All areas fluidly connect with one another both visually and functionally, forming an accessible, layered, and contemporary urban environment.
The project incorporates a park, cinema/theater, sculpture exhibition areas, a shopping center, and office spaces.
The project has been partially implemented.
