K-12 school

Conceptual Design

Location:

Saudi Arabia

Category:

This school project is driven by the principle of achieving maximum functional efficiency while minimizing structural intervention and construction time. A key objective was the clear separation of students by age groups in order to create a safe, comfortable, and well-organized educational environment. The school accommodates two age groups—students aged 9–15 and 15–18—which directly informed the spatial and planning strategy.

Separate entrances to both the school grounds and the building are provided for each age group, ensuring controlled circulation and reducing unnecessary interaction. Administrative and management areas accessible to parents are located on the ground floor, allowing visitors to resolve administrative matters without disrupting the educational process. Teaching spaces for younger students are also concentrated on the lower levels, while classrooms for older students are placed on newly added upper floors constructed with lightweight, prefabricated metal structures that minimize load on the existing building and allow for rapid assembly.

A new laboratory and specialized education building forms an essential part of the first construction phase and is directly connected to the existing school via a second-floor bridge, providing efficient and safe access for students. In the second phase, the campus expands further, consolidating senior students within the new building while preserving the existing structure for younger age groups.

The design places strong emphasis on climate responsiveness, particularly suited to Saudi Arabia’s hot climate. Shaded inner courtyards, lightweight canopies, and natural ventilation create comfortable outdoor learning and recreation spaces. Flexible classroom layouts with mobile furniture support diverse teaching formats and foster creativity, collaboration, and engagement.

Together, these architectural solutions form a cohesive, adaptable, and future-ready educational environment that balances functionality, student comfort, and sustainable design principles.

KFC in Brovary

Built

Location:

Ukraine

KFC Brovary is a comprehensive reconstruction project with an extension to an existing retail and office center, developed in accordance with the requirements of an international brand and the urban context. The restaurant building is designed as a distinct and recognizable architectural volume that is seamlessly integrated into the existing complex, enhancing its commercial value and public activity.

Within the scope of the project, the full architectural concept and construction drawings were developed. Particular attention was paid to the internal spatial organization: detailed technological zoning of the restaurant was carried out, taking into account staff logistics, visitor flow, and the placement of equipment, furniture, and production facilities. The project also included a complete set of engineering solutions, ranging from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to electrical supply, water supply, drainage, and other utilities, all integrated into the overall architectural concept.

The architecture of the project combines rational design, a clear functional structure, and the visual identity of the KFC brand, creating a contemporary commercial space focused on visitor comfort and operational efficiency.

Bodegas vinival competition

Conceptual Design

Location:

Valencia, Spain

Category:

Our architectural proposal is inspired by the festival of Las Fallasl. The project is conceived as a continuous spatial journey, allowing visitors to experience the festival from its beginning to its symbolic conclusion.

The master plan is organized into three interconnected zones. The first zone, Spark, is the most active and vibrant part of the site, where everyday life transforms into celebration. It includes a market square, skate park, and a large public plaza in front of the building, encouraging movement, events, and social interaction. This zone reflects La Plantà, when the festival installations appear, and naturally guides visitors toward the center of the site.

The central zone, Flame, represents the climax of the festival, inspired by Nit del Foc. Fire is expressed through form, color, and lighting. The main pedestrian path loops through the building, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. A central stage with amphitheater seating becomes the focal point, while a green-roofed parking area integrates into the landscape and acts as a buffer from the road.

The final zone, Ash, is a calm and reflective space inspired by La Cremà. Materials and textures referencing ash and charcoal create a quiet atmosphere for rest and contemplation. This area transitions into an orange tree garden, symbolizing renewal and new life. Traces of the site’s former wine barrels are preserved and reinterpreted as interactive sculptural elements.

The existing Vinival factory is transformed into a cultural and educational center. The original structure is preserved, while new volumes are inserted inside, creating flexible exhibition, workshop, and learning spaces. This “building within a building” approach supports natural ventilation and climate control.

Overall, the project merges festival narrative, landscape, and industrial heritage into a unified architectural experience of celebration, reflection, and renewal.

Kharkiv housing challenge

Conceptual Design

Location:

Kharkiv, Ukraine

Category:

The project involved the development of a modular system for the reconstruction of a residential neighborhood, enabling both the rapid rebuilding of damaged structures and the modernization of those that survived.

To restore the exterior walls of buildings, two types of panels are used: structural and façade. This approach allows the same modules to be applied for rebuilding damaged structures as well as for insulating and upgrading existing ones.

Structural panels are used to restore destroyed or weakened areas of buildings. The same façade panels can be installed on both existing walls and newly added structural panels, ensuring a unified and cohesive appearance.

In public spaces, two types of modules are used. They operate on the same principles but differ in size and profile thickness. Each module is provided with a prefabricated concrete shelter. While it cannot withstand a direct strike, it protects people from shell fragments and the blast wave.

Community center – Cheapside Neighbourhood

Conceptual Design

Location:

London, United Kingdom

Category:

The new residential quarter south of Stroud’s historic center is being developed within a free yet isolated area – bordered by railway tracks and large parking lots on one side, and by the canal on the other. The project aims to overcome existing physical and visual barriers: bridging across the railway, negotiating the challenging topography, and reconnecting the town’s core with its green and waterfront areas.

The development is conceived as an urban structure within a compact, constrained site – a small community with its own internal infrastructure that simultaneously functions as a public transit route for town residents, opening new access to the waterfront.

Stroud has a long-standing tradition of artistic culture, independent spirit, and café life. Therefore, another key aspect of the project is the creation of a social framework within a small area – providing all necessary infrastructure for a high quality of life and supporting the growth of the community as an independent yet open cultural unit.

The emerging cluster is a multifunctional community that brings together people from diverse fields. The residential blocks follow a principle of vertical and horizontal clustering, incorporating both shared and private spaces. This approach encourages strong neighborly relations and environmentally responsible shared areas.

The site’s central transit zone acts as an activator – enhancing interaction between the new development’s residents and the wider community. New pedestrian streets and bridges across the canal will open fresh opportunities for using the waterfront as an inclusive recreational space accessible to all groups, including cyclists and people with limited mobility.

The main building, with an area of approximately 17,000 square feet, accommodates multiple functional zones including a kitchen, pool area, barbecue terrace, and a gaming lounge.

A key design principle is the seamless integration of the architecture into the surrounding natural environment, supported by the thoughtful selection of materials. Our team applied deep expertise in ecological, nature-conscious design, resulting in an aesthetic where functionality, durability, and simplicity come together effortlessly. Many decorative elements, carpentry pieces, and material details are custom-crafted directly on-site.

TownHouse in Kyiv

Built

Location:

Kyiv, Ukraine

Category:

This townhouse in Novi Petrivtsi, near Kyiv, was designed as a truly cozy and personal retreat — the kind of private home the clients had long envisioned. During the early design stages, two contrasting concepts were developed: one vibrant and expressive, the other softer and cooler in tone. The clients chose the brighter option, resulting in a distinctive, contrasting interior that reflects their character and lifestyle.

The two-story layout offers a comfortable division of space: the upper floor includes a children’s room and the parents’ bedroom, while the ground floor features a spacious kitchen-dining area that becomes the heart of family life.

Since the clients enjoy bold accents and expressive contrasts, the interior incorporates a striking green wall, decorative panels, and colorful furniture. These elements interact beautifully with the clean, minimalist lines of the design and the black steel fireplace — a focal point that grounds the entire living space.

The result is a modern, minimalist home with carefully chosen highlights, free of unnecessary details, yet full of personality — a warm, welcoming environment tailored to the lifestyle of its owners.

All furniture and interior finishes are made from high-quality, durable, natural, and environmentally friendly materials, creating a nurturing and relaxing environment for mothers and infants. Rebuild Ukraine – Reconstruction of a Multi-Apartment Building, Kharkiv, North Saltivka District

Concept

Location:

Kharkiv, Ukraine

Category:

This reconstruction proposal for a multi-apartment residential building in the northern Saltivka district of Kharkiv (78 Natali Uzhvi Street) aims to restore and modernize a structure that has suffered substantial damage. The project’s primary goal is to provide safe, comfortable, and contemporary housing for both current and future residents.

The concept includes preserving stable sections of the existing building while replacing the damaged ones using Speedstar modular units, enabling faster construction and reducing disruptions to the surviving structure. The façade reconstruction is carried out using Kingspan insulated panels, improving the building’s energy performance and giving it a renewed architectural identity.

A key aspect of the project is improving accessibility. Many Soviet-era buildings fail to meet modern inclusivity standards, so the design incorporates ramps and increased clearances within apartments to ensure usability for residents with limited mobility.

An essential safety feature is the integration of mamaks (Merhav Mugan Komati) — protected safe rooms located on each floor. These spaces provide shelter in case of danger and are included in both the new and reconstructed parts of the building. Mamaks on the ground floor are designed with exits on two opposite sides of the structure to enable rapid evacuation.

This project combines modern technologies, safety measures, and social responsibility, creating a renewed living environment tailored to the needs of today’s community.

School “Pid Holosko”

Conceptual design

Location:

Lviv, Ukraine

Category:

The “Pid Holoskom” project is a competition proposal for a modern kindergarten and a school for grades 1–9 in Lviv. Located on a plot with a challenging slope, the complex is designed to ensure full accessibility for people with limited mobility and convenient movement throughout the site.

The planning concept is based on the principle of functional-age sequencing, where separate blocks and zones are organized according to student age groups. This structure supports a smooth educational progression—from younger to older students—providing psychological comfort for children and efficient workflows for educators.

Architecturally, the project represents a 3–4-story building, where all functional blocks are integrated into one structure and descend in a cascade along the natural terrain. Each block is equipped with an elevator to guarantee barrier-free access. Separate entrance halls, including a dedicated entrance for first-graders, help regulate circulation and adjust access control systems for maximum safety and convenience.

The project also incorporates public and recreational areas, such as a media library, sports facilities, and outdoor activity zones, which enrich the educational environment and support children’s holistic development.

“Pid Holoskom” combines functionality, aesthetics, and safety, creating a complete and contemporary setting for the learning and growth of the next generation.
